The present invention provides a biodegradable elastomer, comprising a hard segment and a soft segment. The hard segment is formed by reacting diisocyanate and a chain extender and the soft segment is comprising a biodegradable oligomer diol, wherein the biodegradable oligomer diol is selected from the group consisting of polycaprolactone diol, polyethylene butylene adipate diol (PEBA diol), poly-L-lactic acid diol (PLLA diol), poly-lactic acid diol and combination thereof. The biodegradable elastomer of present invention can be used to produce vascular graft, cell carrier, drug carrier or gene carrier.本發明係提供一種具有生物相容性之可降解彈性體,係包含一聚胺酯主鏈,其包含一硬鏈段與一軟鏈段,該硬鏈段係藉由一雙異氰酸酯(diisocyanate)與一鏈延長劑(chain extender)反應形成;以及該軟鏈段係為一可降解寡聚物二元醇,其中該可降解寡聚物二元醇係選自於由聚己內酯二元醇(polycaprolactone diol)、聚己二酸乙二醇丁二醇酯二元醇(polyethylene butylene adipate diol)、聚乳酸二元醇及其任意組合所組成之群組。本發明具有生物相容性可降解彈性體可用於人工血管、細胞載體、基因載體或藥物載體之製造。
