PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst carrier capable of being deformed at will, even after a photocatalyst has been carried thereon, in accordance with the shape and size of a housing container, etc., of avoiding the falling of the carried photocatalyst and the collapse of the carrier itself as a result of a photocatalytic function, and of abating a pressure loss as a filter material and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A photocatalyst carrier and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. The photocatalyst carrier of the present invention is provided by carrying a photocatalyst on a metal-coated flexible porous body. According to the present invention, it becomes possible to efficiently manufacture a photocatalyst filter material having excellent pollutant cleanup performances such as decomposition, adsorption.
