PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tooth bleaching material improved in adhesiveness to a discolored tooth and retainability and enhanced in operationability in the tooth bleaching material comprising a combination of titanium oxide generating photocatalytic action by light irradiation, a compound generating hydrogen peroxide in an aqueous solution and an inorganic clay mineral, and to provide a tooth bleaching method.SOLUTION: The tooth bleaching material is prepared by adding a small amount of an organic thickener to the tooth bleaching material comprising the combination of titanium oxide generating the photocatalytic action by light irradiation, the compound generating hydrogen peroxide in an aqueous solution and the inorganic clay mineral.
