PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a salivation promotor etc., promoting the salivation without deteriorating the taste sensation even when applied to the interior of the oral cavity, and having excellent safety.SOLUTION: The salivation promotor characterized by comprising at least one of nucleotide selected from among the group consisting of adenylic acid, guanylic acid, cytidylic acid, and uridylic acid is provided. Since the salivation promotor has almost no problem about the taste sensation, the salivation promotor can be formulated in a composition for the oral cavity and a food composition without limitation.
