A disposable intranasal brain-targeting drug delivery apparatus comprising an administering apparatus. The administering apparatus comprises a catheter (2) and a spray nozzle (4) arranged at an extremity of the catheter (2). The administering apparatus also comprises a syringe (1) having a cavity and used for accommodating an agent. The extremity of the catheter (2) at where the spray nozzle (4) is arranged can be extended into the olfactory area above a horizontal position corresponding to the middle nasal concha. The administrating apparatus also comprises a pressure-sensitive film (3) that is arranged within the syringe (1), separates a cavity of the syringe (1) into multiple discrete cavities (7 and 8), and ruptures under pressure. The other extremity of the catheter (2) is connected to one among the multiple cavities (7 and 8), while a lumen of the catheter (2) is in communication with the cavity (8) connected thereto. The administering apparatus also comprises a soluble film (9) that is used for separating a lumen of the catheter (2) from the cavity (8) connected thereto and dissolves either partially or completely upon contact with the agent. The drug delivery apparatus allows highly efficient delivery of the agent to the olfactory area for direct absorption by the brain, thus providing therapeutic effects to the central nervous system.
