The present invention relates to phosphoenol pyruvate carboxykinase CaPEPCK1 (Capsicum annuum Phosphoenol pyruvate carboxykinase1) related to disease defense, transgenic plants using the same, and a disease-resistant search method. According to the present invention, the gene is able to be usefully used as a gene material for defense reaction of plants against attacks of pathogenic bacteria, and for efficient and effective molecular breeding of disease-resistant plants, which is able to expect effects to contribute to resistant plant development and manufacturing transgenic plants.본 발명은 병방어 관련 포스포에놀피루브산 카르복시인산화효소 유전자 CaPEPCK1 (CapsicumannuumPhposphoenolpyruvatecarboxykinase1), 이를 이용한 형질전환 식물체 및 병저항성 탐색방법에 관한 것이다. 상기한 본 발명에 의하면, 상기 유전자는 병원균의 공격에 대한 식물체의 방어 반응 및 병저항성 식물체의 효율적이고 효과적인 분자적 육종을 위한 유전재료로서 유용하게 사용될 수 있어, 저항성 식물 품종 개발 및 형질전환 식물체 제작에 기여하는 효과를 기대할 수 있게 된다.
