PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for using a pharmaceutical composition in production of oral pharmaceutical preparations for reducing the frequency of urination in a patient who needs treatment of an overactive bladder.SOLUTION: This invention relates to using methods, wherein an active constituent which consists of (1) zolpidem and one or more painkillers, and (2) one or more carriers acceptable as medicaments are contained； at least one of the one or more painkillers is acetaminophen； and the active constituent is the only active constituent in the pharmaceutical preparation. In the using method, preferably a composition contains ibuprofen. In the using method, the pharmaceutical composition is preferably blended as immediate-release, slow-release, extended-release, or a combination thereof.
