PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for reducing urination frequency.SOLUTION: Disclosed herein is the use of a pharmaceutical composition in production of a pharmaceutical formulation for reducing the urination frequency in a subject suffering from nocturia, where the pharmaceutical composition comprises three effective ingredients: (1) acetaminophen, (2) ibuprofen, and (3) an α-blocker, where acetaminophen and ibuprofen are formulated for extended release, delayed release or delayed extended release, the α-blocker is formulated for immediate release, and these effective ingredients are sole effective ingredients contained in the pharmaceutical composition.
