PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ankle moving device which enables a user to move an ankle even if the users muscle is declined or joints get stiff and enables the user to make meticulous movements safely.
SOLUTION: The ankle moving device is equipped with a base 1, a pair of right and left pedal parts 2, 3 supported on the base 1 in a manner to oscillate in a direction to change an inclination angle in the front relative to the rear, motors 11, 12, for driving to oscillate the pedal parts 2, 3, a control part 20 for controlling the operation of the motors 11, 12, and supporting posts 4, 5 installed on the base 1 to support a body while the user U remains standing. The pedal parts 2, 3 have an enclosed structure comprising footrest plates 2a, 3a for placing feet of the user U and frames 32, 33 having right and left side walls 32a, 33a, 32b, 33b rising on the entire periphery of the footrest plates 2a, 3a, front walls 32c, 33c, and rear walls 32d, 33d working as a stopper, and are supported to oscillate about a hinge installed in the rear part.
