PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair in which footrests are rotated and collapsed and the footrests does not hinder a passenger from getting down from the wheelchair and moving when lowering the footrests below a height where feet are placed.SOLUTION: In the footrest device, footrest plates for placing the feet are freely rotatably arranged back and forth by a rotary bonding parts between a pair of right and left frames for attaching the footrests, the footrest plates rotate backward, parts protruding forward are disappeared when the footrest plates are lowered below the height of the feet, the footrest plates reversely rotate and go out forward and the feet can be placed on the same when the footrest plates are returned to the original height.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明の課題は、足を置いた高さより下にフットレストを下げると、フットレスとが回転して折り畳まれ、搭乗者が車椅子から降りて移動することにたいして邪魔にならないフットレスト装置とこれを搭載した車椅子を提供することである。【解決手段】本発明のフットレスト装置では、左右一対のフットレスト取付用フレームとの間に、足を置くためのフットレスト板を回転結合部をもって前後に回転自在に取り付け、足の高さより下にフットレスト板を下げると、フットレスト板が後ろに回転して、前に出た部分がなくなり、フットレスト板を元の高さに戻すと、逆回転してフットレスト板が前にせり出し足を載せることが可能としたフットレスト装置とこれを搭載した車椅子を特徴とする。【選択図】図1
