PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which allows a user to know a replacement timing of a diaper by odor emitted from excrement or body fluid, and suppresses discomfort odor emitted from excrement or body fluid in disposal time after use.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 comprises: an absorber 11 for absorbing a body fluid and a liquid impermeable sheet 12 which does not permeate the body fluid. Out of surfaces 12a, 12b of the liquid impermeable sheet 12, an opposite surface 12b side of a surface 12a on the absorber 11 side has a deodorant material 21 for exerting a deodorization function by contacting moisture.
