PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide thickener granules which are good in thickening property, durability and dispersibility without deteriorating the flavors of foods and drinks, and can prevent the generation of undissolved flour lump, and to provide a method for producing the thickener granules.
SOLUTION: The method for producing the thickener granules has a step for spraying a binder solution on a powder raw material comprising a thickening polysaccharide and dextrin, wherein the binder solution is an aqueous solution containing dextrin in an amount of 18 to 35 mass%, and the amount of the binder solution sprayed has a solid amount of the binder solution of 10 to 32 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass of the powder raw material.
