<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new anti-microbially active peptide exhibiting strong anti-microbial activity against microorganisms including gram-positive and gram-negative pathogenic bacteria, and entirely different from the well-known anti-microbial peptide. <；P>；SOLUTION: The anti-microbially active peptide is obtained by modifying an amino acid sequence of a precursor region peptide of an anti-microbial peptide precursor, and exhibits the anti-microbial activity.
