PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the supply of soil and improve the versatility. SOLUTION: A soil supplying apparatus 10 is placed above a transfer table 1 for a raising seedling vessel 2 holding a number of pots 6 arranged lengthwise and crosswise. The transfer table 1 at the downstream side of the soil supplying apparatus 10 is provided with a pressing brush 16 composed of a plurality of elastically deformable brushes 17 and placed in a manner to press the soil into the pot 6 from above by the vertical reciprocating motion of the brush.
