PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the risk of falls of a subject during diagnosis with a diagnostic apparatus.SOLUTION: A diagnostic apparatus for diagnosing a subject on the basis of information outputted from a pressure sensitive sensor stepped on by the subject includes a processing section which gives the subject instructions to do an assignment including exercising on the pressure sensitive sensor when the processing section determines that the subject stands on the pressure sensitive sensor with the two feet on the basis of information outputted from the pressure sensitive sensor, and which diagnoses the subject on the basis of information outputted from the pressure sensitive sensor.
