PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weed-proof structure of soil having sufficient weed-proof effect even in a cold region, and a weed-proofing method of soil which allows weed control measures to be implemented by simple steps.SOLUTION: A seed-proof structure of soil includes a solidified magnesia layer 14 between a soil 10 and a surface soil 12. The soil 10 and the surface soil 12 include magnesia mixed thereto, respectively.
