PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type wearing article which can prevent leakage of a body fluid by fitting a waist circumference of the wearing article to a body of a wearer, can effectively utilize an absorption area of a liquid absorbent core, and facilitates wearing operation.SOLUTION: A wearing article (10) includes non-expanding and contracting sheets (26), (27) located on non-skin-facing surface sides in front and rear waist regions (11) (12) and expanding and contracting sheets (41), (42) which are located on skin-facing surface sides and can elastically expand and contract. The expanding and contracting sheet is overlapped with front and rear end parts of a liquid absorption structure (15) in a plane view in the outside of a liquid absorbent core in a longitudinal direction (Y) and extends in the entire area in a lateral direction (X) of the front and rear waist regions on the skin-facing surface sides.
