PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article in which the feeling of wear is maintained and a high water absorbency polymer can hardly leak from the absorber.SOLUTION: The absorptive article 100 includes the absorber 11, a top sheet 13 which is so disposed as to cover one surface 11a of the absorber 11 and consists of a liquid-permeable material, and a back sheet 15 which is so disposed as to cover the other surface 11b of the absorber 11 and consists of a liquid-nonpermeable material. The absorber 11 is equipped with an absorptive body 17 and with a covering member 23 comprising a surface covering sheet 19 which is so disposed as to cover one surface 17a of the absorptive body 17 and consists of the liquid-permeable material and a back covering sheet 21 which is so disposed as to cover the other surface 17b and consists of the liquid permeable material.
