PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an animal hair ball discharge-accelerating agent capable of dissolving body hair swallowed by animals such as a dog, cat, rabbit, ferret in the process of grooming themselves as their habits, by an action of a protease, and also discharging residual body hair after dissolution by an action of fibrous materials in a short time to the outside of their bodies as excrement. SOLUTION: The animal hair ball discharge-accelerating agent and hair ball discharge-accelerating feed are obtained by mixing 3-5 % protease extracted from pineapple and 20-25 % apple fiber which is fine powder of an apple, and adding the fibrous materials.
