The present invention relates to an apparatus for connecting and releasing a fishing tool, the apparatus comprising: a coupling member having a coupling groove for coupling to a rope a hollow sleeve member into which the main shaft of the coupling member is inserted so as to be vertically movable an elastic member housed in the interior of the sleeve member interlocked around the circumference of the main main shaft of the coupling member so as to provide elastic support in between the coupling member and the sleeve member and a locking means coupled/fixed to one end of the coupling member while applying pressure to the lower end of the elastic member from the lower part of the sleeve member.
