PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syringe cap improved in order to perform smooth capping.SOLUTION: A syringe cap to be externally fitted to the medicinal solution outlet of a syringe so as to clog the medicinal solution outlet includes: a thick and disk-shape base part 21 and a cylindrical leg part 22 that is formed to be extended in the axial direction S of the base part 21, the cylindrical leg part 22 having outer diameter that is equal to or smaller than the outer diameter of the base part 21, an outer peripheral surface 23 and an inner peripheral surface 25. The outer peripheral surface 23 of the leg part 22 is tapered so as to allow the outer diameter to be smaller toward a distal end extended from the base part 21. The inner peripheral surface 25 is tapered so as to allow the inner diameter to be smaller toward the base part 21. The leg part 22 gradually becomes thinner toward the distal end from the base part 21.
