PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide microsurgical tools and methods which enable surgical creation of a tissue tract within tissues of an eye to directly connect Schlemm's Canal to a suprachoroidal space, thereby forming a connection between the primary and secondary paths for aqueous humor drainage.SOLUTION: An apparatus includes an elongated tool with a proximal end and distal end, and is provided for forming a tissue tract 11A from within a first passageway 11 of an eye connecting to a second passageway 12 of the eye. The tool has an outer diameter in the range of about 50 to about 1000 microns. There is provided a method using the tool 13 for forming a fluid path for aqueous humor of the eye from the first passageway 11 of the eye, such as the Schlemm's Canal, to the second passageway 12, such as the suprachoroidal space.【課題】眼の組織内における組織通路の外科的形成により、シュレム管を脈絡膜上腔に直接接続し、これにより、房水排出の一次および二次経路間の接続を形成することを可能にする微細手術ツールおよび方法を提供する。【解決手段】近端部および遠端部を有する細長いツールを備えた、眼の第１の流路１１内から眼の第２の流路１２に接続する組織通路１１Ａを形成する装置が提供される。ツールは、約５０ないし約１０００ミクロンの範囲の外径を有する。シュレム管等の眼の第１の流路１１から脈絡膜上腔等の第２の流路１２へ眼の房水の流体経路を形成するためにツール１３を使用する方法が提供される。【選択図】図２
