PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further facilitate picking-up of lateral ends of an underpants-type absorbent article.SOLUTION: An adsorbent article includes, when being worn, a ventral part disposed at the ventral side of a wearer, a dorsal part disposed at the dorsal part of the wearer, and a crotch part disposed at the crotch of the wearer. In a state where the underpants type absorbent article is doubled up at the crotch part, with the ventral part and the dorsal part superposed with each other, the ventral part and the dorsal part are joined at the lateral ends respectively, so that a waistline opening part and a pair of leg opening parts are formed at mutually different positions in the longitudinal direction crossing with the lateral direction. The adsorbent article includes in a prescribed range in the longitudinal direction, a change part in which a total value (g/m) of a basis weight of the ventral part and a basis weight of the dorsal part changes from a first basis weight (g/m) to a second basis weight (g/m). A through-hole is formed at a part of the prescribed range in at least one end of the respective ends.【課題】パンツ型の吸収性物品の横方向の端部を更に摘み易くする。【解決手段】 装着時に着用者の腹側に配される腹側部と、前記着用者の背側に配される背側部と、前記着用者の股間に配される股下部とを有した吸収性物品を、前記股下部にて二つ折りして前記腹側部と前記背側部とを重ね合わせた状態で、前記腹側部と前記背側部とを横方向の各端部でそれぞれ接合することにより、前記横方向と交差する縦方向において互いに異なる位置に、胴回り開口部と一対の脚回り開口部とが形成されたパンツ型の吸収性物品である。前記腹側部の坪量と前記背側部の坪量との合計値（ｇ／ｍ2）が、第１坪量（ｇ／ｍ2）から第２坪量（ｇ／ｍ2）へと変化する変化部を前記縦方向の所定範囲に有する。前記各端部のうちの少なくとも一方の端部において前記所定範囲の部分に、貫通孔が形成されている。【選択図】図６
