PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type absorbent article which can be easily broken and which can be easily taken off.SOLUTION: An underpants type absorbent article comprises: an absorbent body (10)； and a pair of belt parts (20) which are stretched in a lateral direction, and in which a pair of junctions (2,3) for jointing the absorbent body (10) and the pair of belt parts (20) are provided on a front side and a rear side, and the junctions (2,3) are inclined outward of a lateral direction from a waist opening part side to a leg surrounding opening part side. A longitudinal end part of the absorbent body (10) forms a part of the leg surrounding opening part and is not stretched in a lateral direction.
