PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rooftop greening device having a weight reduced by simplifying the structure so as to reduce the load on a building.
SOLUTION: The rooftop greening device 10 includes a greening structure 22 installed in a construction (roof) 14 covering the upper part 12a of a building 12, and constituted of a carrying part 20 for carrying a plantation part 16 to be planted with a plant 16b. The rooftop greening device 10 also has a supporting part 24a for allowing the greening structure to be supported by the construction, a protruded part 24b protruded from the supporting part in the direction of the greening structure, and an engaging part 20a formed at the terminal of the carrying part and freely engageable with the protruded part. As a result, the carrying part 20 carrying the plantation part 16 is installed in the construction 14 through the supporting part 24a.
