The invention relates to a device for guiding a medical imaging probe (1) for bringing said probe close to an anatomic volume (101), the probe comprising image acquisition means (4,5) of the anatomical volume, the device comprising a control unit (6) which is connected to the probe and which comprises means for processing (7) images for locating the probe relative to the anatomical volume, in particular from a reference image anatomical volume. According to the invention, the device comprises at least one sensor (10) mounted integral with the probe and capable of generating signals that can be used by the processing means in order to deduce at least one rotation of the probe in space. The invention also relates to a probe adapted to be guided by such a device and a method for guiding such a probe.L'invention concerne un dispositif de guidage d'une sonde d'imagerie médicale (1) pour amener ladite sonde à proximité d'un volume anatomique (101), la sonde comportant des moyens d'acquisition d'images (4,5) du volume anatomique, le dispositif comportant une unité de commande (6) qui est reliée à la sonde et qui comporte des moyens de traitement (7) des images pour situer la sonde relativement au volume anatomique, notamment à partir d'une image de référence du volume anatomique. Selon l'invention, le dispositif comporte au moins un capteur (10) monté solidaire de la sonde et apte à générer des signaux exploitables par les moyens de traitement afin d'en déduire au moins une rotation de la sonde dans l'espace. L'invention concerne également une sonde adaptée à être guidée par un tel dispositif et un procédé de guidage d'une telle sonde.
