PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulated fundus that quantitatively evaluates physical/optical performance of a fundus inspection device, and is useful for adjusting the fundus inspection device and managing the characteristics.
SOLUTION: The simulated fundus 10 includes a substrate 12, a holding layer 14 that is disposed on the substrate 12 and holds fine particles 17, a fine particle layer 16 that is disposed on the holding layer 14 and has a plurality of fine particles 17, an overcoat layer 18 for covering the fine particle layer 16 and reducing the irregularity of the surface of the fine particle layer 16, and a simulated blood vessel pattern layer 19 that is disposed on the overcoat layer 18 and has a pattern simulating a capillary vessel on the surface of a pattern forming layer 20. By employing the holding layer 14 having photo-responsive polymer and forming the fine particle layer 16 by self-composition, the fine particle layer 16 approximated to a visual cell of a human eye is constituted.
