The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing scorched rice for cereal and scorched rice for cereal by the method. The method comprises the following steps: mixing and cooking one or more grains selected from the group consisting of brown rice, rice and barely with cooking water； compressing and heating the cooked rice to mold scorched rice； and grinding the molded scorched rice into grain shapes.
