PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper excellent in the fitting property to around the waist.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a disposable diaper 1 having belt members 11 attached to one side and the other side in a width direction x of the outer surface side of a diaper body 2. The belt member 11 includes a front-side fixing region 12, a back-side fixing region 13, and a belt intermediate region 14 disposed therebetween and not fixed to the diaper body 2. A front-side boundary 15 between the front-side fixing region 12 and the belt intermediate region 14 is formed to include a front-side inclined line extending inwardly in the width direction x and outwardly in a length direction y. A back-side boundary 16 between the back-side fixing region 13 and the belt intermediate region 14 is formed to include a back-side inclined line extending inwardly in the width direction x and outwardly in the length direction y.
