PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image treatment apparatus capable of highly accurately determining the presence or absence of the deficiency of a lung field in a medical image of a chest.SOLUTION: In a medical image treatment apparatus, a control section 51 of an imaging console 5 calculates a predetermined feature amount (first feature amount) of a partial region adjacent to a boundary of an irradiation field in the irradiation field in a medical image of the front of a chest which is transmitted from an FPD 9, and a predetermined feature amount (second feature amount) representing the presence or absence of a high-concentration region out of the lung field.
