PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube assembly for medical treatment which raises no risk for replacing an internal cannula with a cannula of wrong characteristics or a wrong model.SOLUTION: This tracheostomy tube assembly is equipped with an external tube 1 and the internal cannula 2. The mechanical processing end fitting section 10 of the external tube 1 has a bore having an arc-form cross section which is pinched by two flat surface sections. The mechanical processing end fitting section 20 of the internal cannula 2 has an external surface of a shape which is fitted in the fitting section 10 on the external tube 1, and has two flat surface sections which are aligned on the flat surface section on the external tube fitting section.
