The present invention relates to a vegetable composition for preventing or alleviating climacteric syndrome and a manufacturing method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the composition for preventing or alleviating climacteric syndrome includes at least one herb extract selected from the group consisting of Dioscorea batatas, Poria cocos, dried skin from Paeonia suffruticosa and Schisandra chinensis. Therefore, the composition can prevent and alleviate problems caused by a lack of estrogen and has less side effects compared with a composition which is chemically synthesized.본 발명은 갱년기 장애 예방 및 개선을 위한 식물성 조성물 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 일 실시형태에 따른 갱년기 장애 예방 및 개선을 위한 식물성 조성물은 산약, 복령, 목단피 및 오미자로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 한약재 추출물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하며, 상기 식물성 조성물은 에스트로겐 결핍에 따른 장애를 예방하고 개선할 수 있고, 화학적 합성품에 비하여 부작용 발생의 우려가 적은 특징을 가질 수 있다.
