PURPOSE: A constructional material and a material for finishing the surface of fish reef are provided to keep the indoor temperature and humidity of a building constant, to prevent the condensation of the building and the breeding of mold, and to activate the vegetation of the fish reef and an ecosystem. CONSTITUTION: A constructional material and a material for finishing the surface of fish reef comprise 30-50 weight% of diatomite powder, 45-68 weight% of silica, 0.5-3.0 weight% of a binder, and 0.5-5.0 weight% of a pulp. The diatomite powder is fired at 800-830°C for 2-5 hours. A process of firing the diatomite powder enhances the porosity of diatomite. The silica keeps the strength of a coating layer constant. The pump prevents big cracks from being generated on a finishing material layer.
