A main air passage, with a fan at one end, runs below the floor along the centre, the other end being blocked. Air is distributed from the passage under the rest of the floor by a series of parallel pipes (3) close together, each with a series of taper discharge pipes (5) along it at brief intervals. The design is simple to construct, and allows a loading machine to travel freely over the floor without fouling any part of it. It is particularly for use with potatoes.
