The purpose of the notification is the device and method of testing the durability of dental materials. The durability testing device consists of a base (1) with a servo-motor mounted (2),to which the shaft is connected by means of a flexible coupling (3) the first end of the fixing shaft (4),positioned from the side of the servomotor (2) in the first cylindrical bearing fitted with the first support (16a). The second end of the fixing shaft shall be arranged in a set of bearings mounted on the second support (16b),Below which is the force measurement sensor (7). A wheel (8) is mounted on the mounting roller between the bearings with sample brackets affixed to its circuit (9). Above the wheel (8) is a strap (10) of the sample mounted to the grip of the endurance machine (12). In the variant of the device, the wheel (8) is mounted to the shaft by means of a cylindrical bearing. On the first side of the wheel (8) there are springs covered with compressive material,which pass through cuts in a shield (14) mounted parallel and rigidly on a mounting wall. On the other hand, the side wheel (8) contacts the bar pressing the anchored cylinder by means of bearing fitted with supports (16a, 16b) on both sides of the wheel (8). The push-bar is connected to the second servo-motor causing it to be deflected, resulting in the displacement of the attachment shaft of the wheel (8) at a specified angle (ss). The way to test the durability of materials is to:that the sample is drawn to the first sample of the test material with normal force (F). The sample shall then be moved by the sample grip according to the specified trajectory on the reverse curve, on the sample surface and the sample shall be weighed off and the grip shall be rotated until the sample contacts the next sample and repeat the test cycle sequence.
