The present invention relates to a method for preparing a therapeutic agent containing a balsam extract for treating athlete&prime；s foot, and more particularly, to a method for preparing a therapeutic agent containing a balsam extract using a balsam extract which has anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory functions. The method for preparing a therapeutic agent containing a balsam extract for the treatment of athlete&prime；s foot of the present invention comprises: a first step of cutting leaves and stems of balsam； a second step of drying the cut balsam for 72 to 80 hours in a sun-drying method； a third step of preparing a balsam mixture by mixing a distilled water to the dried balsam； a fourth step of heating the balsam mixture mixed with the distilled water for six to eight hours； a fifth step of mixing the balsam mixture with an 30% alcohol, and immersing for three months so as to complete the preparation of the balsam extract； a sixth step of preparing a Sichuan pepper extract； a seventh step of mixing the balsam extract with the Sichuan pepper extract； and an eight step of mixing an additive for imparting moisture with the balsam extract.
