A greenhouse is disclosed having a light-transmitting barrier and a floorsurface. The barrier andfloor surface are connected to define an enclosure within the greenhouse forplant cultivation.The barrier includes an inner layer delimiting the enclosure and an outerlayer. The inner andouter layers are impermeable to air to substantially prevent air from enteringthe enclosurethrough the inner layer. The outer layer is spaced apart above the inner layerto define an airpassage therebetween. The air passage is in fluid communication with at leastone air inlet in abottom portion of the outer layer and with an air outlet in a top portion ofthe outer layer. Airwithin the air passage flows passively from the at least one air inlet to theair outlet upon beingheated.
