PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood cutting-out apparatus usable in mountains and forests where heavy machines for felling and lumbering work cannot enter, and capable of manufacturing wood machined to sizes that can be easily carried out by performing a series of felling, lumbering and sawing steps all together on the spot.SOLUTION: The apparatus is mounted to a tree in a standing state and raised while pruning first to cut out the tree from an instructed position toward a root part. In this work step, work of storing, in a storage part, wood subjected to vertical cutting, cross cutting and cutting-out after cutting off a treetop part of the upper part of the tree only the first time, is made one first cycle of operation, and thereafter, vertical cutting, cross cutting and wood storing are made one cycle. This cycle is repeated down to the root of the tree to cut out wood of planned dimensions. The wood cut out into sizes that can be easily carried out is manufactured in this method.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】伐採造木作業用の重機械の入れない山林でも使用でき、伐採と造木と製材の一連の工程を一括して同時に現地で行うことにより、容易に搬出できる大きさにまでに加工した木材を作り出す木材切り出し装置を提供する。【解決手段】装置を立木の状態の樹木に取り付け、最初に枝打ちをしながら上昇し、指示された位置から根元部分に向けて木取りを行う。その作業ステップは初回のみ樹木上部の梢部分を切り落とし続いて縦切り、玉切り、木取りされた木材を収納部へ収納しこれを最初の1サイクルの動作とし、以後は縦切り、玉切り、木材の収納を1サイクルとしてこのサイクルを樹木の根元まで繰り返すことにより計画した寸法の木材の切り出しを行う。この方法により容易に搬出できる大きさに木取りした木材を作り出す。【選択図】図4
