PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicinal effect evaluation method of a crude drug and a medicinal effect evaluation method between lots of crude drug which are more inexpensive, simple, has satisfactory repeatability than conventional methods, and to provide a preparation method of an evaluation sample for evaluating the medicinal effect.SOLUTION: A medicinal effect evaluation method between lots of a crude drug having a hypoglycemic action includes: (a) a process of obtaining an extracted fraction for performing medicinal effect evaluation of the crude drug by a method including a process of, after extracting the crude drug by hot water, precipitating obtained hot water extracted fraction by ethanol (b) a process of making a silkworm to ingest sugar (A) to increase the concentration of sugar (B) in a fat body or in biological fluid of the silkworm (c) a process of administering the extracted fraction of the crude drug, which was obtained in the process (a), to the silkworm whose concentration of sugar (B) in a fat body or in biological fluid increased, which was obtained in the process (b) and (d) a process of measuring the concentration of sugar (B) in a fat body or in biological fluid of the silkworm to which the extracted fraction of the crude drug was administered.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】従来の方法よりも、安価、簡便であり、再現性が良い、生薬の薬効評価方法、生薬のロット間の薬効評価方法を提供し、該薬効を評価するための評価試料の調製方法を提供する。【解決手段】血糖降下作用を有する生薬のロット間の薬効評価方法であって、(a)上記生薬を熱水抽出後、得られた熱水抽出画分をエタノール沈殿させる工程を含む方法によって、上記生薬の薬効評価をするための抽出画分を得る工程、(b)カイコに糖(A)を摂取させることによって、該カイコの脂肪体中又は体液中の糖(B)の濃度を上昇させる工程、(c)上記工程(b)で得られた脂肪体中又は体液中の糖(B)の濃度が上昇したカイコに、上記工程(a)で得られた生薬の抽出画分を投与する工程、(d)上記生薬の抽出画分が投与されたカイコの脂肪体中又は体液中の糖(B)の濃度を測定する工程、を含む。【選択図】図2
