The present disclosure relates to bacteriophage endolysins, in particular to cell binding domain (CBD) of bacteriophage endolysins, able to bind to Paenibacillus (P.) larvae and as such detect and control this pathogenic organism. P. larvae is responsible for causing American Foulbrood (AFB), which is a highly contagious and lethal disease that affects honeybee larvae.La présente invention concerne des endolysines de bactériophage, en particulier un domaine de liaison cellulaire (CBD) d'endolysines de bactériophage, capables de se lier à Paenibacillus (P.) larvae et ainsi de détecter et de contrôler cet organisme pathogène. P. larvae est responsable de la loque américaine (AFB), qui est une maladie hautement contagieuse et létale qui affecte les larves d'abeilles.
