PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which is put on and off without taking off all clothes, is pulled up and down with the diaper put on, and shows excellent fit.
SOLUTION: The disposable diaper 1 is equipped with an absorber 22, a top sheet 18, a back sheet 20, at least one securing member 13 which extends from each of right and left side edges 6a, 6b of a back body 6, regions to be secured which are provided on a front body 2 for securing the right and left securing members 13, and an expanding and contracting material 42 around an abdomen which is provided circumferentially along the abdomen on the back body 6. Cut parts 29 formed by cutting a part of the back body 6 from the side of a crotch part 4 toward the side of the back body 6 are respectively formed at end parts of the side of the crotch part 4 of side flaps 7 configured by the right and left side edge parts of the back body 6.
