The present invention is a modified Clostridial toxin comprising at least one amino acid modification, wherein the at least one amino acid modification increases the isoelectric point (pI) of the modified Clostridial toxin and lacks the at least one amino acid modification. Provided are modified clostridial toxins that are at least 0.2 pI units higher than the pI of the same clostridial toxin. Further provided is a corresponding use of the modified Clostridial toxin in therapy.
