PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regenerate kinetic energy (or potential energy) of grains discharged from a grain discharging port in a grain discharging work and use the regenerated energy for a harvesting work to reduce fuel consumption of an engine and effectively utilize a fuel resource.
SOLUTION: The hybrid combine harvester is provided with a reaping device (8) arranged at a front side of a frame (3) provided with a traveling apparatus (2) the engine (E), a thresher (4) and a grain storage apparatus (5) mounted on the frame (3) a rotor (70) attached to the discharging port (66) of a grain discharging apparatus (60) of the grain storage apparatus (5) and driven by the grains discharged from the discharging port (66) a generator (73) driven by the rotation of the rotor (70) and generating electric power an accumulator (29) to store the electric power generated by the generator (73) and an electric motor (40) driven by the electric power from the accumulator (29) and assisting the drive of the reaping device (8) by the engine (E).
