PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a driving type patient platform that can efficiently perform positioning work for making the position coincide with that established when a treatment plan is generated.SOLUTION: There are provided translation units 3, 4, and 5 that translate a top board 8 in the X direction, the Y direction, and the Z direction, respectively, in a fixed coordinate system 10 rotation units 6, 7, and 8 that rotate the top board 8 in the &theta direction around the X axis, the &phiv direction around the Y axis, and the &xi direction around the Z axis, respectively and a control device that controls the translation units 3, 4, and 5 and the rotation units 6, 7, and 8, based on an input desired rotation center point and an input desired rotation angle.
