PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive type patient platform allowing efficient positioning work for performing positioning to a position settled in time of treatment planning.SOLUTION: A drive type patient platform includes: translation means 3, 4, 5 each translating a top plate 8 in each axial direction of an X-axis, a Y-axis, and a Z-axis to a fixed coordinate system 10 rotation means 6, 7, 8 rotating the top plate 8 in each direction of a θ direction, a φ direction, and a ξ direction around each axis and a controller controlling the translation means 3, 4, 5 and the rotation means 6, 7, 8 on the basis of an inputted desired rotation center point P.
