PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental light-curing apparatus, enabling a backlit display, which, on the one hand, may be produced at comparably low cost, and on the other hand, allows good recognizability independently of the external lightning state.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a dental light-curing apparatus, which dental light-curing apparatus comprises: a display device (12) on or at a housing wall (10) of the light-curing apparatus, especially on an upper face of the light-curing apparatus and a plurality of light sources, which are arranged inside the wall (10) and are directed to the wall (10) at least part of the wall (10) being transparent to the light radiation emitted from the light sources. The wall comprises a smooth outer surface, and an equally essentially smooth inner surface of the wall is provided with a negative pattern (18) formed especially by printing to expose symbols (14), which negative pattern (18) is light-impermeable or essentially light-impermeable.
