PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaged tomato-containing beverage easy to drink with a dry taste with low viscosity, suppressed in acid taste, having enough sweetness like fully-ripened and good taste, and to provide an inhibition method of acid taste of the packaged tomato-containing beverage and an improvement method of texture and taste of the packaged tomato-containing beverage.SOLUTION: A packaged tomato-containing beverage contains particles and the particles have an accumulated 50% particle size of 300 &mum or less and an accumulated 90% particle size of 500 &mum or less, and a calcium concentration of 55 to 340 mg/L. A manufacturing method of the packaged tomato-containing beverage and an improvement method of texture and taste of the packaged tomato-containing beverage include the steps of adjusting the calcium concentration to 55 to 340 mg/L, and adjusting so that the accumulated 50% particle size of particles contained in the packaged tomato-containing beverage is 300 &mum or less and the accumulated 90% particle size is 500 &mum or less.【課題】低粘度でさらっとした食感を有しながらも、酸味が抑制され、完熟したような甘みが十分感じられる、呈味が良好で飲み易い容器詰トマト含有飲料及び容器詰トマト含有飲料の酸味抑制方法並びに容器詰トマト含有飲料の食感及び呈味改善方法を提供する。【解決手段】粒子を含有する容器詰トマト含有飲料であって、該粒子の累積50%粒子径が300μm以下であり、且つ累積90%粒子径が500μm以下であり、カルシウム濃度が55~340mg/Lであることを特徴とする容器詰トマト含有飲料、カルシウム含有量を55~340mg/Lに調整する工程と、容器詰トマト含有飲料に含まれる粒子の累積50%粒子径を300μm以下、且つ累積90%粒子径を500μm以下となるように調整する工程を含むことを特徴とする容器詰トマト含有飲料の製造方法、及び容器詰トマト含有飲料の食感及び呈味改善方法。【選択図】なし
