PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastes treatment equipment which annihilates and composts wastes, such as garbage, by fermentation decomposition and facilitates monitoring of a charging amount of the wastes to be charged into its fermentation decomposition tank so that a good fermentation decomposition environment can be easily maintained. SOLUTION: The wastes treatment equipment 1 having the fermentation decomposition tank 3 equipped with agitating means 2 has a sensor for detecting the state that the materials to be treated within the fermentation decomposition tank 3 exceeds a specified amount and, for example, a weight detecting sensor 11 for detecting the weight over the entire part of the equipment including the weight of the fermentation decomposition tank 3, by which the detection of a change in the amount of the materials to be treated in the tank is made possible from a change in the detected weight.
