PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type seedling-transplanting machine that can suppress seedling growth defects.SOLUTION: A walking type seedling-transplanting machine 1 includes: a machine body 2 with traveling wheels 10 for traveling on a farm field a seedling platform 30 provided to the rearward of the machine body 2 and loading seedlings thereon and a seedling planting device 3 for taking the seedlings out of the seedling platform 30 and planting the seedlings in the farm field. The seedling planting device 3 includes: a rotating case 61 rotated by a drive force from an engine 11 and a planting rod 34 rotatably provided to the rotating case 61 and taking the seedlings out of the seedling platform 30 to plant the seedlings in the farm field. A rotation direction of the rotating case 61 is a direction reverse to a rotation direction of the traveling wheels 10.
