PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire storage body which can perform pretreatment for expressing lubricity on the surface of a guide wire without bothering an operator.SOLUTION: In a guide wire storage body 20 having an inner cavity 20d capable of storing a guide wire 10, a hole 20p is provided which communicates the inner cavity 20d with the outside, whereby pretreatment (treatment for expressing lubricity) of the guide wire 10 subjected to hydrophilic coating treatment can be performed only by immersing the guide wire storage body 20 in a liquid, such as physiologic saline. As a result, time and labor of an operator for injecting a liquid into the inner cavity 20d of the guide wire storage body 20 can be eliminated to prevent the operator from being bothered by the pretreatment.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】ガイドワイヤの表面に潤滑性を発現させるための前処理を、術者の手を煩わせることなく実行可能なガイドワイヤ収納体を提供する。【解決手段】ガイドワイヤ10を収納可能な内腔を有するガイドワイヤ収納体20において、内腔20dが外部に連通する孔20pを設けることとする。こうすれば、生理食塩水などの液体にガイドワイヤ収納体20ごと浸しておくだけで、親水性コーティング処理が施されたガイドワイヤの前処理(潤滑性を発現させる処理)を行うことができる。その結果、術者がガイドワイヤ収容体20の内腔20dに液体を注入する手間が省けるので、前処理によって術者の手を煩わせることを回避可能となる。【選択図】図1
